I was lucky to have mentors who looked over my query letters, dug deep into critiquing first pages, and did it all with the belief I could succeed. I absorbed everything they taught me, and after writing successful query letters of my own, I want to pass that knowledge onwards. The packages I offer are below.

Query Critique, One Pass
Queries are hard. Getting good advice on them shouldn't be. I'll give content and line edits, point out places of reader confusion, and ensure your query has all the key components.
First 5 Pages Critique
It can be difficult balancing character introduction, plot. conflict, and voice, all within just a few pages. I'll provide line editing as well as content edits, and identify ways to balance the narrative.

If you critique my query letter and/or pages, does it mean I'll get a full request?
Agent taste varies so widely, that even if you have a 'perfect' query letter or first 5 pages, it doesn't guarantee your manuscript is the best fit for them. The industry is also, to be blunt, a bit on fire right now, with publishing houses getting more and more selective, which trickles down to agent bandwidth. So while I cannot promise requests, what I can do is ensure your query and pages present your work in the most clear and engaging way possible, to give you the best shot in agent inboxes.
How long until I get my query back?
Query critiques will be returned within one week from receipt of payment.
How long until I get my first 5 pages back?
First 5 pages critiques will be returned within two weeks from receipt of payment.
Are you going to steal my work?
No. I have no interest in other people's ideas, and quite honestly, like my ideas much better.
